Guys, I’ve had my 72” for a couple weeks now. I absolutely freaking love this thing. It is every bit of the toolbox my Mac Macsimizer was back in the day, at a fraction of the cost. The only thing I’d change, I’d love to have a hutch for it some day. I’ve had a ton of compliments from customers as well. Thanks for the amazing tool box!

I had my reservations, but decided to give it a try anyway. very helpful staff, packaging and instructions for delivery very awesome. no damage and everything works great. I have been using this box for about 7 months. I have really enjoyed working with this box. I am not really thrilled by stainless steel work top, but it works fine, I wish it was a little thicker, I dropped a heavy tool on it from about 3 feet above top, and managed to Ding the top, but it was definitely my own fault.. On second thought, the work top did its job and protected the rest of the toolbox, so I really am happy with it. I love the smooth drawer pulls. I have to remind myself to open the drawer fully to utilize “ALL” of the drawer. still trying to get over using a thinner 18″ drawer for too many years. I like the spring loaded casters, definitely makes a difference when I have to move box building to building. I would recommend this box to anyone looking for quality, sturdiness, reliability, and value. And I never thought all four of those words would go together.

Best toolbox we have had to date, we used others, the ones that come from a tool trucks and this tool box beats them hands down. In the past we seemed to have a lot of door problems with the weight we would put into them, not with this toolbox.We are kinda hard on on toolboxes in our shop. found that quality is just as good as matco, infact had a bet with co-worker that we could stand in my toolbax when it got here , when it arrived first thing we did was stand in the bottom draw and other tech was dumb founded , because he had paid over 15 k for his tool box and wasn’t willing to see if it would hold the both of us. slides are amazingly smooth shipment was outstanding , when it arrived it had some pretty bad damage on fright toolbox i was worried that i was gona have to go throw sending it back ect but un wrapped her not a dent scratch or mark on her just pure beauty. more then enough room to expand. i plan on getting the hutch next year. i have to say i would have felt really stupid if i had bought a matco or snapon for the prices they have and then have some else buy this box for this price , side by side it’s just the name your buy with other boxes . best investment yet

Unbelievable. You could easily make the trucks stop selling toolboxes!!! Heavier duty with better finish and trim. Too bad only 2 colors were available. The 10 to 11 grand 3 bank boxes from the trucks truly are lacking after you see this tool box!!! Wow, and everyone else said wow too. I will be buying the hutch and side lockers as soon as money allows.

I’ve been needing a new tool box for work for the longest time. I’ve been having to SLOWLY open my drawers for a year and a half because all the slides were shot. For the last few weeks, I’ve been shopping around at a lot of triple bay boxes and almost pulled the trigger on a SO box from the tool guy for four times of this price. That’s when I came upon this website and saw all the great reviews on this box. One week later and this box arrived at my work. In that week of my box getting delivered to me, one guy spent three times as much on a used SO double bay with top chest, two guys spent a few hundred more on a SO double bay, one guys spent a few hundred more on a MC triple bay 4s, and another guy spending about what i spent on a double bay CW. My box was the last of all 5 tool boxes to get there and everyone that had just purchased their boxes was saying how nice and how good of a deal I got. The quality so far for this toolbox is equivalent or even better compared to some of the new “Name Brand” tool boxes in our shop. One guy was saying he may buy one just like mine because all the tool guys their cannot beat these prices size for size. When one of my coworker got his 4s triple bay, I asked him to stand in one of his drawers jokingly. His reply was for my to stand in my own box when it gets there. So with the challenge accepted, once I inspected and got my box out of it’s crate of a home, I pulled out one of the bottom drawers and stood right in it. Not even the slightest movement in the drawer. All things aside, I would not hesitate to make another purchase from these guys. Brad was very friendly and helpful with my whole order and stayed in contact with me until the box was at my door.

I am a Harley Davidson Master Tech. I can’t tell you how happy I am with this Tool Vault Elite 72″ 17 Drawer Tool Cabinet. First of all, I wish I would knew about Strictlytoolboxes.com a long time ago, it would have saved me ton of Money. I sold my 72′ snap-on to buy this box and this tool Vault is way better. The guys in the shop were like, wow really nice, and it only cost 1/3 of what a Snap-on box the same size would cost. I can’t wait to order the riser and side cabinet. From the time I place the order, the service was great. They called me within the hour to let me know they had sold three over the weekend but an order was coming in Thursday, and it would be shipped out by Friday the latest. I got it the following Wed. morning. Crate was great, I followed the instructions for delivery. And everything went good. This toolbox gets a 10 in my book.

First off I am not normally a guy that takes time to write a review but in this instance a felt compelled. The service from strictly tool boxes is 1st rate they make it very comfortable to make the purchase. Over the years I have owned several tool truck brand tool boxes this toolbox is hands down as good quality as any of them. I was nervous about delivery especialy after I found out I live in the area with the highest percentage of freight damage. When it arrived the crate was pretty banged up but they really package these things well the driver was great he helped me uncrate it and inspect it he was more excited than me lol. After many years in the field it was time for a new tool box. After looking at all of the top end name brands I found myself not wanting to spend $10,000+ on a S***-On tool box. I then stumbled upon this site. I still scratch my head and wonder how someone can build such a bad a** toolbox and charge so little for it. It was mind blowing. The ordering process was great and the box arrived in a timely manner. The box was packaged very well. No issues with damage, the crate was not damaged and the tool box was also not damaged. The freight truck driver was cool too, he stuck around to watch us tear apart the crate and let me inspect the box before even asking for a signature. Now as far as the box, it is everything that I thought it would be and then ten times more. As much as the reviews indicate the detents are very very stiff. On the drawers with 4 slides I removed 2 of the detents because these drawers have 4 installed(one per slide). This made the opening and closing of the bigger drawers a lot easier. The box is AWESOME, it is big, sturdy, thick, and puts all the tool truck guys boxes to shame. To anyone reading this and wonder if they should make the investment……the answer is YES. I have been a diesel mechanic for more than 15 years, owned Craftsman, Snapon, and many others, but this has been the best bang for the buck I have found. For this price you cannot even touch a used toolbox of this size from the major brands and it easily matches their quality. Slides are smooth and very strong. First thing I did was stand in the bottom drawer and bounce. Pulled out one of the top drawer and hung off of it with little give at all and I weigh 227lbs. I would not hesitate to purchase this again or recommend it to anyone else. I can only think of three downsides: I wish it was made in the USA (support the home team!), I prefer drawer latches to detents, and I wish there was an option for more shallow drawers (I prefer square inches to cubic.) In daily use I find the detents to be a little strong, but it does come with softer ones if preferred; the casters roll smooth and the spring suspension lets it roll right over small bumps and debris and the fixed wheels in the middle make maneuvering easy. I just couldn’t ask for a better deal on a toolbox if this quality. Also do not hesitate about buying online. I was a little hesitant at first, but after seeing so many positive reviews I gave it a shot. Customer service was awesome and very prompt with replies and made sure to call once my order was processed to confirm and explain everything. The order was processed and shipped out quickly and arrived within 3 days. If I am ever in the market for another toolbox I will be a repeat customer

I was a little hesitant to buy this toolbox without putting my hands on one first, but I am so glad that I did! It is an amazing value for the quality of the product. I am a heavy duty diesel technician. Which means i have a lot of heavy tools to store. After I bought my tool box two of my coworkers bought new boxes and paid over double the amount I paid. One of the guys had pretty bad buyers remorse, but there was not an ounce of buyers remorse on my end. I didn’t much care for the fact that these boxes are made in China, but then I found out that several of the big name boxes are made over seas now. That put my mind at ease. The drawer lay out of this toolbox works very well. The powder coat holds up well, and is easy to clean. The stainless top does dent pretty easy. All in all it is an excellent tool box! I would buy this box again even if it cost twice as much!

I love this box. I used to have two 42″ bottom cabinets and a 42″ top chest at work. I’ve managed to fit everything into this one tool box and still have room to spare. Definitely an attention getter though. Others in the shop wanted to know where I got it after looking it over and hearing the price. In the shop I work there are Snap On, Mac, Craftsman, Cornwell and Matco toolboxes. All except for Craftsman cost more and none are as nice as this box. I would love to get another to replace some of the boxes in my home shop. I would and do strongly recommend looking into these boxes if you’re in need of one. Strictlytoolboxes.com has the greatest customer support I’ve dealt with. I buy tools and equipment online all the time. I’ve never gotten phone calls about the status of my order or instructions on how to inspect my package. Great box, great service, awesome price. I can’t imagine going to anyone else in the future. I am a full time automotive technician and work on anything and everything. I have been needing a new tool box for a long time. I had a small double stack tool box.I like to keep everything organized but it got to the point where i had tools just piled in the drawers because i didn’t have enough room. I had been looking at all the stores and saw some in the tool truck sales flyers. But they were either to flimsy or to expensive. I couldn’t afford to spend 12 grand on a tool box. So i started looking online, I came across strictly tool boxes while searching for alternate brands of toolboxes. I looked at the Extreme Tools 72″ and the Montezuma 72″ for a long time. I wanted a nice big box so I would have plenty of room for more tools in the future. I also wanted a box with a nice stainless steel top so i could use it as a work bench. I was nervous about buying a box off the internet since I had never seen either brands in person. I finally had enough money so I called and talked to one of the guys at strictly tool boxes. I asked him all the questions I had and after talking to him and reading all the reviews I decided to go with the Montezuma Elite 72″. I ordered it and received it a week later. I was nervous about the whole inspection thing because I thought the driver might not let me look at it. But when it was dropped off the driver was nice and said I could check it out while he went and closed up his truck. I got it mostly opened and the driver helped me take the box off the top. He was really impressed, he said you don’t see tool boxes built like that everyday. He was also impressed with the crate. It was on a pallet with quarter inch ply wood all around it then a really thick box and a giant plastic bag. It would have had to be really mishandled to get damaged. Everything looked good so I signed the bill. I installed the alternate detents because the one that came on it were so stiff I could hardly open the drawers. Once I installed the new detents they were still stiff but better. I switched all my tools over and had quite a few empty drawers left it was really nice to have extra room. I had a problem with the locks, there were two different locks and only the right key for one of them. So I called right away and told them what was wrong and they overnighted me a new lock and key so both locks would match and i could use the same key. I am very impressed with the box it is very sturdy I have actually used a drawer for a chair and didn’t even phase it. My one complaint and the reason I gave it 4 stars on quality was the stainless steel top has a real small checker board texture on it. So the top is really hard to clean because stuff gets caught in the squares. Other then that I love my box and if I had to do it over again I would definitely buy it again. The drawers have gotten easier to close as I have used them more. I have been telling all the guys at work where I got it and they were all really impressed especially when I told them the price. I purchased this tool box 2 months ago on 11/16/2012. I am a manchanic and car dealer and wanted to have this box for a few weeks before i wrote a review on it. I just love this toolbox,and since I am a mechanic this box gets used alot. This box is everything they say it is, price, quality, durability, its all great I would highly recommend this box to everyone. I had been looking at boxes for awhile and almost spent 4 times the amount for one. I am so glad I got online and found this box. i dont really have any dislikes, maybe latches on the drawers or a place to plug in my tools to charge them.. I just think this is a great box and its at a great price. You cant go wrong.You will love it.

This tool box looks even better than the pictures. Great customer experience. I had the box three days after i ordered it. The toolbox was professionally crated and did not have any damage when it arrived. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I wish Strictly Tool Boxes offered closed cell foam to put in the drawers to shadow the tools. About the shiping company: while the shipment was fast, i don’t believe a lot of thought was put into the actual delivery. For example, i requested a lift gate. They showed up with a semi to a residential neighborhood. I hadto plead with the driver to attempt backing into my driveway. Then, the box and pallet jack together wwould not fit on the lift gate. Between the two of us, we were eventually able to get it off the truck. The driver was nice and helped uncrate the box. However, he would not take the crate with him so i had a pile of trash to contend with.

I had been looking at getting a new toolbox for some time. The toolbox set I had bought when I started school just wasn’t cutting it when I actually started working. Being a “stacked” style box, it was too tall to pass under the aircraft and it didn’t provide me any working area surface. I don’t remember how I came to find out about Montezuma toolboxes or Strictlytoolboxes.com. But once I did, I was eye-balling the 72″ Montezuma Elite for A LONG time, many months to almost a year. I was hesitant to make such a large purchase on-line, but the alternatives cost way too much from one of the tool trucks. I browsed around several websites looking at different brands. But I always kept coming back to STB.com and the 72″ Montezuma Elite. It looked to be an awesome box at a very good price and STB.com seemed to have a history of happy customers. The day I decided to “pull the trigger” was when I was talking to a guy at work who was going to school. I had mentioned the 72″ Montezuma Elite I was think about and he said if I made the move, he’d buy my old box. That was all it took to get it past the Mrs. I placed my order one evening, and to my surprise, I got notified my box had been shipped by about 10 am the next day. About 48 hours later, it had already made it from STB.com in FL to Milwaukee!!! After that weekend, the truck pulled up to my driveway. I had already reviewed the receiving and freight inspection instructions many times and was ready the moment it hit the pavement. The driver was awesome too. He was curious as to what was in the crate and wanted to see it too when I told him it was my new toolbox. He even helped me uncrate it for inspection since the crate showed signs of a 1000 plus miles in the back of several semi-trailers. But the robust crate did it’s job and my shiny new blue Montezuma box emerged unscathed by the trip. I took it to work on my day off and spent several hours transferring all my tools to their new home. Many people knew I was getting a new box and right away it started attracting on-lookers and admirers. The complements still haven’t stopped, nor have the questions like “Is that all it cost!!???” STB.com has been as awesome as the product they sell. I inquired about possibly getting some extra keys and the answer was “where do you want them sent”!! I had one minor issue with a wheel lock not staying locked and they shipped me a free replacement that same day!!! I have absolutely no bad things to say about STB.com’s customer service, nadda, zip, nothing!! Their service has been flawless. I had some questions about getting different drawers and additional corners guards which they answered very promptly. Now that I’ve had my box for about a month, I can say it’s been doing everything I wanted. It rolls under the belly of the jets so I don’t have to go way the heck around. And it gives me all the working surface I need for my tech manual data, parts or materials. The rolling resistance is much less than one would expect for a box of this size or weight. It actually takes much less effort to move it than my old, much smaller box. If I had to come up with one critique for the box, it would be the suspension springs on the wheels are too stiff. They need A LOT MORE weight in the box to get the suspension to flex over uneven floor surfaces. That being said, when you roll it over a surface that is slightly dished shaped, only the casters on the 4 corners make contact with the ground. The center wheels that keep the box rolling straight are not touching the ground and the toolbox gets a little squirrely and hard to steer until the floor contour changes and the center wheels again touch the ground. I think maybe some options for some softer springs for the wheels would fix the issue. But overall I can say in all honesty, I am one happy camper!! The quality and value of the 72″ Montezuma Elite cannot be beat nor can STB.com’s customer service. It’s about as close to a “no loose” situation as you will ever find.

started working at a toyota dealership that did not have built in tool boxes like my old toyota dealership. so i spent 2 months looking around for a large toolbox, the big name trucks where out of the question with the 8k-12k price tags. the internet pointed me to this web site and after asking around i took the plunge and bought one. it comes shipped like a tank 1/4 inch plywood on the outside a cardboard box and foam on the inside. the truck driver really wanted to see what was inside so he made it his last delivery so he could see me open it. all the guys in the shop came over to help me open it. we all loved the paint everything about the box NO ONE BELIEVED how much i paid for the box until i showed them the only thing i wish is that i BOUGHT THE HUTCH at the same time if you can buy the hutch

I was looking for a new tool box for about a year and was seriously considering trading my Snap-On double bank in for a triple bank… I’m glad I didn’t!!! I stumbled across this website looking for other options and I was just like everyone else… skeptical. I researched these tool boxes online for quite some time, after the guys at Strictly toolbox answered all of my questions and I realized this was most likely gonna be a solid toolbox I gave in and ordered one. It was shipped via Saia and I was so anxious to get it I went to the terminal and picked it up, so it only took about 4 days to get here. I have had it for about a month and a half now and I am extremely pleased with this tool box, I really like it better than my Snap-On. If you look at the picture that has both of my toolboxes in it you can see the difference of the two toolboxes and I paid a lot more for the little one than I did the big one. The only thing I don’t really care for is the detents on the drawers but the tool box comes with different detents and I haven’t tried them yet. I love the fact that this tool box comes standard with the stainless steel top and the spring loaded casters. I have been telling all of my buddies and people that I deal with in the field about these toolboxes. This tool box truly is just as good as any big brand name tool box and thousands cheaper… I know everyone says the same thing but it is the truth. If I decide I need more tool space you can bet I’ll be getting the topper for this toolbox.

I have been researching the high end toolboxes for more than a year. I looked at everything from budget to high end tool boxes. The lower end would not cut it in my line of work and the high end tool boxes were way out of my price range. I ran across StrictlyToolBoxes.com and was very hesitant to jump on the Montezuma bandwagon, only because I have never seen one in person. To make a long story short, I took the chance and I can say, I think this is probably the best surprise I have ever had when buying online. The toolbox was shipped with so much padding it took me longer to unpack it than to stock it with my tools. The only complaint I have with my entire purchase is with the shipping company. There was a little damage to the back but I couldn’t do anything about it because the shipping company Saia had someone other than myself sign for it. I should have been the ONLY one authorized to sign for my box. Anyway, the toolbox was shipped extremely fast. The toolbox matches the best boxes I have seen in quality. I have people come up to my box and can’t believe I have twice the toolbox they have for a third of the price. Bottom line, buy this toolbox if you are in need of a heavy duty, great quality and extremely heavy tool chest. I believe that this tool box will last me the rest of my career. Once I decide that I am in need for more room, you can bet that I will be purchasing a top box from Strictly Tool Boxes. And one more thing, if you have ever heard of the term “supply and demand”, you will understand what I am about to say. I am a full time diesel mechanic at an International dealership. All 8 other mechanics in my shop have 72″ Snxp-xn boxes with hutches. I have worked out of my buddies 72″ snxp-xn tool box that he wasn’t using for the past 9 months till I could save up enough to buy my own. I stumbled across this site while looking for used tool boxes and was skeptical at first. I did as much research as I could, comparing drawer arrangements, weight ratings, and the gauge of steel used in construction. Finally I ordered a 72″ Montezuma with a stainless top and faultless castors. It arrived 2 days later in great shape…. the packaging was incredibly thorough; 1/4″ plywood outside of 3/4″ styrofoam with thick plastic covering the tool box itself. One look at the tool box and you can tell that these tool boxes are built well. The drawers slide very smoothly and securely on the rollerbearing slides and extend all the way out without being difficult to return inward. The handles that you install on both ends are very classy looking and are very strong. Several items that are different but not necessarily worse than the tool truck boxes are as follows: The stainless top is textured slightly which makes it a little hard to write on, the drawer detents are rather stiff but the tool box has softer spare detent blocks and instructions on how to install them, and all the end castors swivel which make it easy to maneuver but also make the box slightly more difficult to push in a straight line. Things i like about this tool box… the extra security drawer, the great paint job it has, the no-skid drawer liners that come with the tool box, the 2 wide shallow drawers underneath the socket drawer; I use one for wrenches and the other for screwdrivers and pliers, I also like having a handle on each end of the tool box. The thing I like best is that all the other guys in the shop are asking the tool truck dealer why their tool boxes cost so much!!! After seeing my tool box, one of my coworkers said that Snxp-xn is becoming a brand name cult! That said, I have been working out of it for 2 weeks and I love the tool box! All the other guys in the shop have been amazed at how nice this toolbox is for a 3rd of the price that they paid for their tool boxes. I would be amazed if anyone else who saw my tool box would still pay $10,000 for a tool truck tool box! I would never hesitate to convince anyone to get this tool box over more expensive tool boxes. I own a auto body shop so I decided to upgrade my old Mxxxx toolbox. My other techs have nice Cxxxxxx tool box and sxxx-ox toolbox and when you see them your first impression is “wow, look at those nice tool boxes”. They were very impressive from my point of view and they did bring some class to my shop when they brought their tool boxes in. That is when I wanted a upgrade both sxxx-ox and cxxxxxxxx said I have this tool box for $5700 but it was not as big as the Montezuma. Cxxxxxxx said I can get you a similar toolbox for around $4200. I looked at both of them and the toolboxes were pretty sharp nice colors the only thing that they lacked was the amount of drawers and the size of the drawers also the nice color the toolbox is. That is when my mind was made up to get me the Montezuma. When my toolbox came and we unpacked it you could just see the look in techs eyes when we got it all unpacked and put the handles on the beautiful toolbox. The first words out their mouths were “How Much did you pay for this?”. Later that day my one tech said to the sxxx-ox man “I wanna try and sell my toolbox”. That put a smile on my face when I heard it. I love this toolbox – plenty of room, nice and big, color is great, the quality is top notch, and customer service is right on point. I had to give a key to my son called them up and without question they sent me 2 keys free of charge. My experience with strictly tool boxes has been a good one. Great company to do business with! Way to go guys! I’m already setting up to make my next buy. A side cabinet and hutch. Now when customers come in they see my toolbox first out of the other 3 toolboxes. My toolbox is the real eye catcher! Thanks STB. PS . I almost forgot when sxxx-ox saw it the first thing he said was that it was not good quality. Our boxes are painted on the inside and most boxes you get online are just painted on the outside and the bearings are junk as well. Being the Asshole I am I said “Really?” in front of a shop full of people “Lets see.” we walked over to my toolbox and I pulled out the top draw and checked with my flash light. I said “Looks all painted to me!” then I went and stepped into the bottom draw and said push the draw in and out while I was standing in it again without any problems drawer worked great! I weigh 260 pounds. That sure shut him up.

I’ve been using my new tool box for a little less than a month and absolutely love it in every way! Very heavy duty drawer slides, and spring loaded casters which is very nice, and so much room! I have had most the other brand name toolboxes, but I definitely like this one the best, and I really like the price tag that came with it! I even showed this toolbox to the tool guys that come by the shop, and even they were very impressed and jealous once they realized how much I paid for it. I LOVE my new tool box! It is high quality construction at an affordable price and I know quality construction because I a general contractor and have to maintain all of my equipment (toys) and tools. I did a lot of research before I purchased a tool box and found your product to be far superior to the competitions overpriced tool boxes. The only problem that I can find with my new tool box is that I had to buy more tools, oh darn! I priced tool boxes of this size from 3 major tool dealers and none of them could match the price of this tool box. After running out of room in a much smaller Craftsman tool box I decided to upgrade. My boss had just purchased a slightly smaller toolbox from here and everyone was impressed with it. The purchase process was smooth as could be and the tool cabinet came crated to withstand a small bomb blast. I am glad I spent a little extra for the deeper box, stainless steel top and upgraded casters. It was worth every penny. What else can I say except that everyone else here hasn’t. After talking to my local Sxxx-Ox dealer, I’m glad I didn’t shell out the cost of a cheap car for a toolbox. No one needs to spend 10K or more for a tool box. I’m a small trucking fleet owner/mechanic, our tools were spread out across several cheaper store brand toolboxes and a workbench, I wanted something to consolidate all the tools into one toolbox without having to spend Tool truck brand $$$$. After much research I decided on a Montezuma 72″ elite combo. The roll cabinet arrived a couple weeks ago and is even better quality than I’d read. This toolbox is built like a tank, no flex to the drawers at all, even when loaded with heavy truck tools. The large wheels on the elite toolbox roll very easily for a tool box this size. Coming from smaller 18″ deep tool boxes, I really can’t say enough about the huge 30″ deep drawers. I would not hesitate to buy a Montezuma toolbox again. The Elite series is a heavy duty professional grade tool box. I think it is heavier than the tool truck guys (you know who they are). The only thing you will miss by buying this tool box is all the extra payments you would be making to the tool truck guys. You will be the ENVY of all the guys in your shop or all the people in your neighborhood because of the QUALITY and the PRICE. The quality of this tool cabinet is so high that I can tell it will last for decades without a problem. The only way I can see you overloading the drawers is if you store plate steel in them. The drawers extend fully so make sure you have enough room for it (you need at least 60 inches deep). The day it arrived I spent 3 hours after work moving all my tools into it. Wow this is the first thing ever purchased by me with no contact at all and for a lot of money, but have to say StrictlyToolBoxes hit it out of the ball park for me, what a great tool box!!! The tool cabinet is top quality, shipping went great, and the packing on this thing is wonderful. I may use the high quality crate for something else. I do have to say this will not see the inside of a shop, I’m a retired chef and will be using it in my new home as a kitchen island and bar height eating, my work surface will be 42×88 and will have a folding wing on end for addition seating 8 to 10 people at a time. I had a 54″x23″ snappy before and had no extra room, the drawers weren’t the best, and the casters had seen better days. For all the hype of those boxes and the price tag I have absolutely no regrets with this box! It rolls extremely easy, it basically glides, even for being as heavy as it is. The paint is great. I have a couple unused drawers and much more room in the drawers that I’m using! The box is SO much bigger in person than in the pictures, the stainless top is awesome too! I could literally lay on the top without a problem. The box is really solid, when giving the top a little thump compared to other boxes here at the shop this one sounds much beefier. The detents on the drawers are great too, takes a little push to close them, which makes em feel sturdier to me. I want to get another for the garage at home now but the wife might not go for that. I’ll for sure be ordering from this site again when I do convince her though. Seriously though, don’t hesitate on getting this box.

Researched tool boxes for three years before finally pulling the trigger on this toolbox in which Ive had for two years now. I am still impressed with this box everyday. I could not be more pleased with this purchase. The quality is as good, if not better, than the truck brands, for less than half of the cost. The drawers are a bit tight at first, but do smooth out with use once loaded. All drawers open ALL of the way allowing complete access to the entire space. This toolbox screams quality and I am certain that it will last a lifetime of heavy use.

I am very satisfied with this toolbox. I believe it was money well spent it is just as good as a Snap-on in my opinion. It is a whole lot cheaper than the Snap-on and wieghs the same if not just a little more. It has plenty of room in it and the drawer slides operate very smoothly. I had been wanting and needing a new and bigger tool box for a long time. Did my research for over a year trying to find the right one. Strickly Toolbox defiantly had the best value. Have been using this box for over a year now and it is great. Drawers open and close nicely. The drawer liners stay in-place. Casters roll good and the handles are solid. Moved all my tools from 2 standard size overflowing rollaway boxes into this huge box, and still had some room to add some new tools. The lime green paint is so sharp.

I am an Aviation Director of Maintenance for a corporation where time is money and every tool is a valuable resource. This box provides great storage for my hard earned assets and for 1/4 of the price for what a tool truck was offering me for the same dimension box, you can’t beat the price. My company purchased this box for me and I had the choice to go anywhere, after finding STB , I couldn’t bring myself to spend 12k plus for something less quality than this box. From the online purchase to the delivery STB was informative and customer service is top notch. I purchased the extra $30 for the lift gate option and when it arrive the truck did not have the gate. We did have a forklift so it was not an issue and STB reimbursed me that day ( within the next two hours after delivery ). I am impressed and very glad I went with them. This box arrived in perfect condition. I ordered it the day before Thanksgiving and it still made it from Florida to Colorado in less than a week. Incredible. The toolbox is sturdy, just as good if not better than any of the SnapOn or Cornwell boxes I’ve seen around the shop. The drawers were a little hard to open when empty, but with some weight in them they became much easier to open and close. I really like the drawer detents. I find that they hold the drawers closed better than normal latches would. With weight in them they open and close easily, and once closed they stay closed. They won’t ‘wander’ open. Strictly Toolboxes also has great customer service. I am confident that had I had a problem with the toolbox, or when receiving the toolbox that they would have sorted it out in no time. If I ever need another box I will buy again from these guys. I would highly recommend this box to anyone. Much cheaper than any of the tool truck brands and just as sturdy.

This toolbox is incredible! I am a diesel mechanic and was looking for a new tool box for my widely growing tool collection. I couldn’t be happier with making the decision to spend my hard earned money on this product. Im happy i went with the detents vs the new Montezuma with raise latches. I feel as they would get annoying after awhile. This box is much taller than i had expected, much more so than the other boxes in our shop. Me being 6’5″ makes it perfect height for me.. The only thing i wish was offered *hint *hint is black trim and pull handles. I think it would just be good as an option for the people going for that look. Also the handles are kind of hard to get dirt out of due the texture. If it was black it wouldn’t be an issue. I look forward to adding on to this cabinet and using this thing for a very long time. The best thing about buying from here is unlike the tool trucks you aren’t being badgered to spend more money on a bigger tool box with more options. You can take your time to research and make a stress free educated decision on what you want from your roller cabinet. I’ve been needing a bigger box for some time and have been looking at this tool box for the last 2 years and finally decided it was time to place my order. I placed the order on a Saturday evening and on Monday morning early I had already received an e-mail stating my toolbox had been shipped. My box arrived undamaged (excellent packaging) on Tuesday the following week. Once I opened the packaging one of my co-workers looked the tool box over and the next day ordered the same box but with the hutch. I am very pleased with the quality of the toolbox and even more so of the cheap price. I may be ordering up the hutch sooner than later as well.

I am a diesel mechanic ,I being looking at this tool box for about 3 years until got the money for, and let me tell you ,it worth the wait, I order the toolbox on Monday and got it delivery by Friday , the pallet and sides got damage from freight company and got it into shop with the driver and he help me to open and inspected and was no damage at all . I love this tool box , took me couple of days to switch stuff from my old box and i start using it every day , it rolls and turn very easy , the drawers are very heavy to open at the beginning but smooth out with couple days of use , the top is very nice but is very easy to dent or scratch I try to keep heavy stuff away . This is by far the best tool box I have ever had. I have been an Aircraft mechanic for 38 years and have went through many toolboxes. I have looked at many tool boxes to include all the expensive ones from snap on, and this tool box I think is better than Snap on and one third the price. all the construction is great and all the roller ball bearing drawers are super. I will never have to replace this one. And it came in a great color lime green. And the best part it holds 100% of my aircraft maintenance tools. I was apprehensive to buy the toolbox at first, so I called the company directly. Tim was super helpful at letting me know what it all had to offer and what shipping would look like and all the details I needed to decide. I am a professional automotive technician and work at a Chevrolet dealership. I had more than outgrown my tool box and needed something new. A google search brought me to Strictlytoolboxes.com and their Tool Vault Elite line. After a bunch of research, I pulled the trigger and ordered a 72x30in box in lime green. I received emails and phone calls from Strictly Toolboxes within an hour detailing shipping information and instructions for receiving and inspecting the box. Just over 48 hours after ordering, FedEx delivered my new box to the shop. The delivery driver helped un-crate the box and stood by while I inspected it. Any reservations I had about spending over $3,000 on a toolbox without first handling it in person faded away immediately. It is solid! I have been super impressed with the box, and so have the other techs in the shop. Even my Foreman (who recently bought a $15,000 Snap-On box), has showed my box off to several people and bragged on how affordable it was. A few techs have said they will likely buy from Strictly Toolboxes when the time comes to upgrade their boxes. Having used the box for nearly a month, my only gripe about the box is the rough, textured finish to the silver aluminum drawer pulls. They collect oily, greasy fingerprints immediately, and are a pain to clean. Other than that, the box is outstanding. If you are on the fence about buying one of these boxes, just do it. And if you’re thinking about spending 3 or 4 times as much on a box off of the tool trucks, don’t! Having handled my box and boxes from Snap-On, Matco and Mack I can honestly tell you they aren’t worth the premium. Buy Tool Vault with confidence.

Anyways after reviewing the elite 72×30 roller cabinet for probably over 2 years i finally decided to pull the trigger on there orange with black trim box as I’m getting back into the diesel technician field after a couple years being away due to medical reasons. Anyways, I called up strictly toolboxes on a Monday morning, and had asked if the box in question was in stock, because first off like everything right now I didn’t want to order it and have it be backordered for weeks on end, But they assured me that it was in stock and that’s all I needed to hear before I ordered the box. So lets jump ahead a couple hours from when I got a phone call from Tim, with him explaining the entire process and that it would be shipped the same day, AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE, from the emails to the phone calls always answered the phone and was willing to answer any question I had. I will definitely be buying the matching locker and hutch eventually as well and recommend to anyone looking for a quality toolbox. I have had this toolbox approximately a month and feel that it is a very good quality toolbox. Have research name brand tool boxes and couldn’t tell the difference so why pay their high prices. Shipping was free and easy and came in a crate that did not receive any damage. Highly recommend this tool box!!!

I was worried about quality at first. After it arrived no more worries it is a top of the line Snappy without the price. Just like other reviews people where shocked at the quality at the price and they have about the same toolbox from Snappy. You can tell by the gage of the drawers and over all it is top of the line. Dont spend 7-8 for similar tool box. This box is it hands down.

Was looking at this box and another on the tool truck, for this same size the tool guy wanted $8k on sale. Decided to try this based on the reviews and I’m glad I did. Slides are super sturdy, probably better than my Snappy master series box. I constantly sit in one of the drawers. Its the second largest box in the dealership,the other cost over $20k. I have about 6 empty drawers that i don’t know how to fill. The only downsides, which at this price I couldn’t care less, are the stainless top’s texture isn’t ideal for full time work, although does look amazing all cleaned up. And the metal is a bit thinner than my other box preventing me from magnetizing anything heavy to the side, there is plenty of space inside for it all though, and beyond that I don’t see why the metal needs to be any thicker. I’m not planning on hitting it with a car. So, in all, I love this box and am much happier with it than I was with my little Snappy box, which i paid more for on sale. If I ever grow out of my home box I’ll be sure to buy another one of these.

This is my second one and if I ever need another I wouldn’t hesitate. It is very well built. The drawers are very sturdy. I had read about others standing in them and I did the same. No concerns about anything. I’ve owned one for 3 years with zero issues. As good as the big names at a fraction of the cost.

The quality of this toolbox just blew me away. I shopped for several months at big box stores an none of their products came close to matching the quality and finish of the tool vault. The tool box I received was of the same high quality of the Tool boxes around it, A KRL master series, a Epiq , a 6s, you name it, we pretty much have it all in our large 36 bay automotive shop. When I first got it I was worried about shipping damage, as soon as that stressed was relieved it came down to getting the packaging off, which was a small chore in and of itself, the pallet needs to be screwed down and slid under the unit. The Tool Box itself is made very well, A ton of bends and in the drawers that helps stiffens it, the slides are very smooth. The box I upgraded from was a Classic 96, and although that box served well it was no comparison to this tool box. This is not comparable to a low end tool box from the truck. This is the high end tool boxes. Yes the size is moderate in comparison to quad bays and up. But truly this is the acceptable large tool box size standard. For good reason, It’s huge! The classic I had was completely full of tools, after swapping over I had 3 drawers empty with more room in the other drawers I had not had before. This tool box is very heavy and it weighs the 1k pounds advertised, which is actually more than the krl 1023 it dwarfs sitting literally 2 inches from it. The tech had bought it a couple months before mine and spent 6600 dollars with a very old krl trade in, and of course after the much needed and unstated standard discount they give out. He did not get a stainless steel top like I did, nor 2 handles, The truck guy was nice enough to give him a cover. Another tech bought a Epiq a couple days before I got mine in. This is the box which is most comparable to the quality of the one I received. They both had large and heavy drawer stiffeners on drawer 1 (6) compared to the classic’s (4) small drawer stiffeners. I never liked the “locknroll” drawer pullout feature of the classic or krl series, the plastic to me felt cheap and unappealing of a very expensive toolbox. The paint was just as good as the the other boxes (perhaps better), I measured the thickness of of the drawers. .060 on the montezuma toolbox, .059 on the krl, .053 on the classic. Either the gauge is a lot thicker than stated or the paint thickness is very good. The paint has a nice gloss sheen to it. You can if you look very closely can see some weld spots here and there. Not a big deal to me as I could say the same for the classic it replaced. Problems so far: I did have one slide that made noise and tried greasing it which didn’t help, took the drawer out located that the plastic latch lever was rubbing shaved a little off and good to go, no more problem. StrictlyToolBoxes did a great job. Good communications, and customer serice, this is how all business should be run. I would hope brick and mortar businesses could go back to this styling. After many years in the field it was time for a new tool box. After looking at all of the top end name brands I found myself not wanting to spend $10,000+ on a S***-On toolbox. I then stumbled upon this site. I still scratch my head and wonder how someone can build such a bad a** box and charge so little for it. It was mind blowing. The ordering process was great and the box arrived in a timely manner. The toolbox was packaged very well. No issues with damage, the crate was not damaged and the box was also not damaged. The freight truck driver was cool too, he stuck around to watch us tear apart the crate and let me inspect the box before even asking for a signature. Now as far as the box, it is everything that I thought it would be and then ten times more. As much as the reviews indicate the detents are very very stiff. On the drawers with 4 slides I removed 2 of the detents because these drawers have 4 installed(one per slide). This made the opening and closing of the bigger drawers a lot easier. The box is AWESOME, it is big, sturdy, thick, and puts all the tool truck guys boxes to shame. To anyone reading this and wonder if they should make the investment……the answer is YES. There was no way I was going to spend $11,000 for a S***On tool box. shopping around I came across strictlytoolboxes.com , I was a little skeptical at first, the prices seemed way to cheap. All the reviews on this box were great so I ordered it . Wow I am so impressed with this box it is so well built . and the service was GREAT!! I am very happy with my new Montezuma Elite 72″ toolbox! I had read the reviews online, but honestly was still holding back hope until I saw the box for myself. Well here is my 9 month review, this tool box has not aged at all unless you count grease smudges that I haven’t cleaned off. Everything works flawlessly and for the price this tool box is a home run. Everyone in my shop commented on how nice the tool box looked when I first got it and I think it will still look great in 10-20 years. One of the other mechanics just got a nice 72″ Snap-on and it looks nice but for 10K it is nowhere near the value as this tool box. You could buy three of these boxes for that price! Great toolbox, love the wide top drawers, and the heavy duty roller bearings on all the boards.

My husband has been a Mechanic for close to 30 years spending the last 20 plus working on heavy equipment. Of all the tool boxes I have checked out, this one gets the trophy! I have studied every make and model from the most expensive Snap-On to Kobalt, Craftsman to Harbor Freight, Matco to Husky, and Montezuma could not be beat. Price, storage capacities, weight capacities, quality of material and workmanship, ease of ordering, courtesy of employee, and delivery time were all outstanding. I highly recommend Strictly ToolBoxes to everyone I see looking at tool boxes now. In the photos I posted you will see two pics of myself AND my brother standing in one of the long drawers and one of the small drawers. Both drawers had a 500 pound weight capacity. Together, my brother and I weigh about 420 pounds and the drawer never even flexed. We were even able to move the drawer easily while still standing in it. If I could post a video of it I would. I hope I can find enough tools to fill this massive tool box and then have to buy another one just for my specialty tools. I hope you are as happy with your purchase as I am.

I am a former professional auto technician, currently an engineer still working on my hobby cars. This tool box is just what I needed for my current ongoing garage renovation. The quality of this toolbox is excellent. I like the size but I will say that 30″ deep requires you to open the draws a long way to get at tools in the back and reach a long way as well. I might want to consider the 24″ deep version the next time. Also my first toolbox arrived damaged. Following all the inspection procedures sent to me by Strictly Toolboxes resulted in an immediate return and they got me a new one out the next day. I was very happy with working with them on this. First of all Shannon and his staff are great to work with. They all seem to know where and when you can expect the tool box. They answer the phone and return e-mails promptly, very impressive these days! I had a name brand toolbox which I was quite fond of but lost to a house fire. I could not see spending that much money again knowing there was a better value out there. After spending many hours searching I came upon strictlytoolboxes and placed an order. Never having done this before I was very nervous. No need to worry! I run 15 trucks and could not have had this tool box as quickly as they got it to my terminal! This is a GREAT TOOLBOX! I had a smaller Sxxx Ox set that this tool box replaced. What a great buy – the quality and craftsmanship are impressive. After loading the new toolbox and using it for a couple days I’d put it up against the best that Sxxx Ox or Mxx has to offer. I farm and ranch for a living so everything from complete SAE AND METRIC 1/4 to 3/4 drive sets, wrenches sets and a big varitity of air tools and attachments plus alot of special tools plus everything else inbetween, so there is alot of weight in the bigger tools, it takes hardly any effort to move the chest plus all the drawers roll smooth as silk even the heavy ones. I’m a shop foreman for a large european auto shop and I use this tool cabinet everyday. It gets a lot of weight put in it and abused. It holds up great and I will buy another one before I ever look at another Mxx tool box again. A comparable Mxx toolbox was twice the price and smaller!! Not to mention it was slightly lighter weight and a lower payload tolerance. This is a great toolbox for the professional, and overkill for anyone at home! Great deal!
