I Have been a mechanic for over 12 years. This tool box is just as good if not better than the snapon, matco or cornwell toolboxes I have had. Its not made in the USA but neither are the other guy’s if their being honest. I have had this box for about 4 years now and it shows no signs of wearing out. I use it heavily every day as a professional mechanic and it keeps performing.

Without a doubt, this is a gorgeous toolbox and every bit as functional as its’ aesthetic appeal. Shipping was perfect and there was no damage to the crate. My only nitpick is the stainless steel top. As a diesel mechanic this was a necessity when picking my tool box but on the first day I had it, I had a wrench slip off a stubborn air fitting on a piggyback (brake chamber) and ding the bench surface. Not what I was expecting because my old Snap-On stainless steel top would only lightly scratch when similar or worse things happen. This made me realize that Tool Vault only uses a thin sheet of stainless to cover a softer particle board, or so I assume. Having to work on heavier parts like assembling Hydraulic Pumps and PTOs will also mean I have to take precautionary steps in the future, like some quarter inch rubber matting, to disperse the occasional impact that can happen in order prevent anymore dents and dings. All said and done, if you’re not working with a 20k plus budget for a toolbox, this one is every bit worth buying.

I decided to get the 84in as I outgrew my 56in double bay wich was also from strictly tool box. This thing is a beast! It is perfect and way less than the tool truck boxes! If I ever outgrow it they offer hutch and lockers also! I’m a heavy line technician and I have had it over a year and nothing but happy with it !

I have had this toolbox for over a year and have to say it is worth it. this is only the second toolbox I have owned but I didn’t want to keep buying a new box every few years so I bought this one, and when I run out of room I will buy the hutch and side cabinets. But to sum it up this is the best box out there, it is just as good as the matco and snap on tool boxes for almost a 1/4 of the price.

I have had my toolbox for almost 1 year and the more I use it the better I like it. I waited a year for my review so I could give actual feed back after a good deal of use. Best drawer layout of any box I have ever had and Quality in build that is as good or better than any other tool box I have ever used. Tons of room. Very solid and very smooth. The finish is beautiful and very tough and is holding up to daily use. Still looks brand new. The Price gives unmatched value. There is no way you will regret buying this box. Also, I had a small issue with delivery, I called the company and it was fixed by the next day! Their service is the real deal!

I have had this tool box for a little over a year and I am still impressed with the quality and look of the toolbox. Compare to any tool truck boxes and you get loads more for your money. I priced out boxes for over 6 months and decided to go with (aka my wife said ok) this box. Never regretted anything about it. I do wish I was able to get the top hutch. Unless you have 30 years of tools stored up you will not need the top tool cabinet. I would highly recommend this box to anyone looking for one that is 30 in deep.

Fantastic box. I have had Snap-On and numerous other brands. While it is not the most refined toolbox out there, it certainly was the best value BY FAR. Very heavy duty and I have no doubt that it will last me MANY years. I would most certainly purchase again at the drop of a hat!!

10/10 The best customer service I’ve ever had. The package was well protected. The tool box it’s self is unrivaled! The customer service was incredible. The shipping took a week and a half. It would have been a week but there was an emergency with the people shipping it. For reference to other buyers, I live in Iowa and im a college student. The website, customer service, shipping (people), and the delivery guy was the greatest experience that more than makes me confident in this brand. The tool box is the best toolbox I’ve ever had. I do own snap on tool boxes and have been around a lot of other premium quality things, but this is my favorite. The features besides the custom stainless steel top which resembles this checkered flag design that at the same you can still see a clear reflection of yourself, it would have to be the drawers. Yes, the drawers do go past the front of the box which is so nice, but I like the drawers because they are smooth and stay where you put them not like for example my snap on which you just push it and it will slam shut because its so smooth. Finding the balance between smoothness and stationary drawers is the best with this box. For other buyers, yes the two middle casters are rigid so my concern was it riveting in the middle so it would be hard to back it against a wall with out a fork lift. The rigid caster slide so that you can move it like a regular 4 caster tool box and it does so effortlessly. This boxes mobility is amazing. The price is unmatched, and according to my debit card, I wasn’t taxed. So the $4075 price tag is exactly that. The warranty is limited but when I called and asked about it, it surprised me and further increased my confidence. Call them, ask. Seriously, try it. There is not a single flaw with the service and especially the tool box. This tool box, I am so proud to have it and can’t wait to add to it. I chose Tool Vault for quality and space, and I got way more than that. In the pictures I am 6 foot 3 inches 250 lbs. This box is so big that it is deceiving in pictures, its scale can not be fulling rendered with a phone or computer. I recommend professional cameras which is not what I used, lol. I do wish is was 48 inches for a little extra height for drawers 5 and 8 because I tried to put my Big Mac precision torque combination wrenches but the case was like a millimeter to tall, thanks MAC. So I had to lay them out flat lol. But jokes aside, This is the BEST! Thank you.

20+ years of wrenching and having had Matco, Mac and Snapon toolboxes, I have to admit I was skeptical at first (how can they be so much cheaper?), but after much research and reading lots of reviews, I finally decided to order this Tool Vault monster, and was very impressed with the quality and construction. Side by side with my older, smaller Snapon, I have to say this box beats that KRL, as the Tool Vault has reinforcing ribs under the drawers (unlike the KRL). Even heavily loaded drawers (air tool, puller, socket drawer, etc) glide smoothly without binding or twisting. Shipping was fast for where I live (in the sticks), ordered Thursday it arrived Tuesday. Only fault I can point to in the entire process of buying this tool box is when it’s all crated up for shipping is, it’s 8′ long…..and nobody has an 8′ liftgate, and you can’t turn an 8′ skid inside an 8′ trailer. Thankfully I have a forklift, so we were able to use it in conjunction with the liftgate to get it safely on the ground. Driver was very helpful and pointed out a few scuffs on the crating, insisting we uncrate it (I think he was as excited to see this box as I was.) Box arrived in perfect condition.

My 84″ Elite Tool Vault came today via Fed Ex. The driver let me open the crate, we inspected it, it was perfect, not a scratch. The customer service walked me through the entire process, sent me emails, I was able to call and ask questions. Everything went as planned. I couldn’t be more happier with my purchase. This thing went beyond my expectations. It’s a beast! If you’re looking for a quality tool box, to upgrade like I was, or just starting out, this is exactly what you need! You will not be disappointed. I’m so lucky I found this web site-And finally pulled the trigger. My guess, these toolboxes will become main stream, and will totally change the industry. Just received my new toolbox. I ordered it Tuesday evening and got here 3:00 pm Friday. This thing is a beast and at 61 years old I have had a lot of tool boxes over the years. The process was easy and there customer service is top notch. I can’t believe the quality for the price. I do think the big 3 have a slight quality advantage but for the money it was 1/3 the cost. My tool guys are hating life lol. Thank you Strictly Tool Boxes for giving technicians another option I wanted everything from my 2 boxes and on the shelves to be in 1 box

Pre-ordered the orange with black trim and it was well worth the wait for it to get done. Shipped from Florida to Pennsylvania in 2 business days and the packaging was like a tank. The lock the drawer latches and the slides are top notch. This thing moves very smooth for its size and weight casters are outstanding. The drawer liners are nice dense foam and fit perfectly and the stainless top can be used as a mirror. I have seen many snap on and Matco tool boxes and this tool box is built just as well as any of them. If you are looking for a toolbox that is built for professionals this will not disappoint. For reference the color is similar to the old chevy hugger orange and the finish is flawless. Last note customer service was great this was a hassle free purchase and the box was done exactly when they said it would be. I will try to add more photos as I get it completely set up.

This is my second tool vault and both are awesome. My first was a 55” elite but I ran out of room. Very well built. I don’t see why this toolbox wouldn’t last me the rest of my career. The handle locking mechanism works well and the drawers slide nice and smooth. I got my tracking number right away and the tool box arrived earlier than the expected arrival date. The tool truck boxes are no better quality than these and their prices don’t even come close. It’s a no-brainer.

I was an auto tech for several years and continue to work on cars as a hobby. I had a Snap On KRL and a single bay Matco that spent the last 10 years in my home garage. I decided I wanted to combine by toolboxes into a single larger tool box to add space and improve the look of my workspace. After looking at “truck” boxes I decided that I just could not justify spending over 15k for what I was looking for. I came across this sight and ready many reviews on the Tool Vault toolbox. I’ll be honest, I was very hesitant that the quality would not compare and I would regret getting rid of my current boxes. After a lot of debating, I decided to give it a go. Let me say, don’t hesitate. The customer service from Strictly Tool Boxes is great. I bothered them with several emails and all kinds of questions. They shipped the box same day and even called me to let me know it shipped along with the emails. It showed up packaged very stout but was still fairly easy to unpack. Quality is awesome. It looks great, drawers feel good, latches work well, top is really nice. The only possible negative I will mention is the top. While it looks great, it is obvious that it is not as thick as the top on my SnapOn. However, I think it will hold up just fine and again, we’re comparing to a box that would cost 4x as much. All around I am very happy. Great company, great product. Just buy one.

What an upgrade from my 56in extreme tools that still works perfect I just ran out of space! Now to try and fill this up with the money I saved from snap on or Matco truck! My second toolbox from Strictly now I won’t need a bigger one than this but when more room is needed I can always get the side lockers! And the orange is amazing everyone in the shop loves it!

I found this tool box totally what I have been looking for, fast delivery, NO DAMAGE!!!!!!!!! Very easy to dismantle crate, delivered by fedex perfect just perfect. Now the wife is another story, they just do not understand lol.

I have had this tool box about a month now and I have been very impressed with the quality. I bought it to upgrade from my old toolbox that just couldn’t fit any more tools. I did have one drawer keep sticking in the beginning but I put a little grease on it and have had no problems since. The lining inside the toolbox is great that it doesn’t move around like cheap ones. I had a cornwell salesman look it over and he was very impressed, saying it was as good as any box he sold. I have had many people think I spent over $15,000 on the tool box. So, I am very satisfied with cost and quality.

Just received my Blue 84in today. Just 1 Fedex truck to unload it. The packing crate was amazing. No dings or dents. just a lot of work unboxing it. I’ve had an 84in Custom Series Cornwell and a 68in Snap On Epiq before this and quit working on cars and bought the biggest Husky toolbox Home Depot offered just to hold my tools which was good and all but started working on cars again and needed a bigger tool box. I did a lot of research and looked at 9-12k Snap On and Cornwell boxes but was having a hard time justifying that much money to hold tools. I was doing research on these boxes on youtube and some guy with 2 84in Epiq kept hinting toward Tool Vault toolboxes and so I did research on these Tool Vault boxes and even called the company that makes them. Very great and helpful customer service people. They went above and beyond to help answer all my questions and concerns I wish there was more live pictures and they sent more some! I was just shocked by the price, $4k shipped no way! That’s more than half of what I was about to drop on a new Epiq box. So I purchased this 84in and then treated myself to more tools with the money I saved. Very very very happy with the quality and build of this box. Well done. Anyone looking at a new box really wont regret getting these boxes. I would say it’s up in the same ball park as Big Name Brand companies. I personally think this is built better than Cornwell but I admit the Snap on Epiq is sexier and built better (not by much) but $12k price tag isn’t worth it. Overall this box, the rails, drawers, the wheels, locks are all top notch…. Only complaint and I would really complain would have to be the protective film on the stainless top, took about 40mins to remove and left glue residue all over it. And there is a padding between the stainless steel top and the actual toolbox that you have to lift off the top to remove and was screwed in which I didn’t know so it was a pain to remove that padding. Still 5 start and very happy and don’t regret not getting that Epiq. Just those 2 things little inconveniences. But they aren’t the box they are just to protect the box. (Customer service people) I think the padded / cardboard that already comes with the box is plenty and don’t need that film or that thin padding in between the box and the stainless top during shipping. Just saying. But great tool box and experience. Thank you!!

Wow! All I can say is wow! This cabinet is a war wagon. Impeccable fit and finish, works with precision, locking mechanism is flawless, heavy duty side handles are also impeccable quality. Heavy spring castors are exceptional and stainless top is a work of art. The fed ex guys had there work cut out getting off truck or should I say two trucks back to back with both lifts in operation to get it to the ground. I have a smaller snap on that is half the quality compared to this beast. My guess if it had a different name attached like Mac or snap on it would be $15k. My neighbors have already been over and are plotting which size to buy.
