I Have been a mechanic for over 12 years. This tool box is just as good if not better than the snapon, matco or cornwell toolboxes I have had. Its not made in the USA but neither are the other guy's if their being honest. I have had this box for about 4 years now and it shows no signs of wearing out. I use it heavily every day as a professional mechanic and it keeps performing.

If I ever outgrow it they offer hutch and lockers also! I’m a heavy line technician and I have had it over a year and nothing but happy with it !

I have had this toolbox for over a year and have to say it is worth it. this is only the second toolbox I have owned but I didn't want to keep buying a new box every few years so I bought this one, and when I run out of room I will buy the hutch and side cabinets. But to sum it up this is the best box out there, it is just as good as the matco and snap on tool boxes for almost a 1/4 of the price.

I have had my toolbox for almost 1 year and the more I use it the better I like it. I waited a year for my review so I could give actual feed back after a good deal of use. Best drawer layout of any box I have ever had and Quality in build that is as good or better than any other tool box I have ever used. Tons of room. Very solid and very smooth. The finish is beautiful and very tough and is holding up to daily use. Still looks brand new. The Price gives unmatched value. There is no way you will regret buying this box. Also, I had a small issue with delivery, I called the company and it was fixed by the next day! Their service is the real deal!

I was an auto tech for several years and continue to work on cars as a hobby. I had a Snap On KRL and a single bay Matco that spent the last 10 years in my home garage. I decided I wanted to combine by toolboxes into a single larger tool box to add space and improve the look of my workspace. After looking at "truck" boxes I decided that I just could not justify spending over 15k for what I was looking for. I came across this sight and ready many reviews on the Tool Vault toolbox. I'll be honest, I was very hesitant that the quality would not compare and I would regret getting rid of my current boxes. After a lot of debating, I decided to give it a go. Let me say, don't hesitate. The customer service from Strictly Tool Boxes is great. I bothered them with several emails and all kinds of questions. They shipped the box same day and even called me to let me know it shipped along with the emails. It showed up packaged very stout but was still fairly easy to unpack. Quality is awesome. It looks great, drawers feel good, latches work well, top is really nice. The only possible negative I will mention is the top. While it looks great, it is obvious that it is not as thick as the top on my SnapOn. However, I think it will hold up just fine and again, we're comparing to a box that would cost 4x as much. All around I am very happy. Great company, great product. Just buy one.

I have had this tool box for a little over a year and I am still impressed with the quality and look of the toolbox. Compare to any tool truck boxes and you get loads more for your money. I priced out boxes for over 6 months and decided to go with (aka my wife said ok) this box. Never regretted anything about it. I do wish I was able to get the top hutch. Unless you have 30 years of tools stored up you will not need the top tool cabinet. I would highly recommend this box to anyone looking for one that is 30 in deep.

10/10 The best customer service I’ve ever had. The package was well protected. The tool box it’s self is unrivaled! The customer service was incredible. The shipping took a week and a half. It would have been a week but there was an emergency with the people shipping it. For reference to other buyers, I live in Iowa and im a college student. The website, customer service, shipping (people), and the delivery guy was the greatest experience that more than makes me confident in this brand. The tool box is the best toolbox I’ve ever had. I do own snap on tool boxes and have been around a lot of other premium quality things, but this is my favorite. The features besides the custom stainless steel top which resembles this checkered flag design that at the same you can still see a clear reflection of yourself, it would have to be the drawers. Yes, the drawers do go past the front of the box which is so nice, but I like the drawers because they are smooth and stay where you put them not like for example my snap on which you just push it and it will slam shut because its so smooth. Finding the balance between smoothness and stationary drawers is the best with this box. For other buyers, yes the two middle casters are rigid so my concern was it riveting in the middle so it would be hard to back it against a wall with out a fork lift. The rigid caster slide so that you can move it like a regular 4 caster tool box and it does so effortlessly. This boxes mobility is amazing. The price is unmatched, and according to my debit card, I wasn’t taxed. So the $4075 price tag is exactly that. The warranty is limited but when I called and asked about it, it surprised me and further increased my confidence. Call them, ask. Seriously, try it. There is not a single flaw with the service and especially the tool box. This tool box, I am so proud to have it and can’t wait to add to it. I chose Tool Vault for quality and space, and I got way more than that. In the pictures I am 6 foot 3 inches 250 lbs. This box is so big that it is deceiving in pictures, its scale can not be fulling rendered with a phone or computer. I recommend professional cameras which is not what I used, lol. I do wish is was 48 inches for a little extra height for drawers 5 and 8 because I tried to put my Big Mac precision torque combination wrenches but the case was like a millimeter to tall, thanks MAC. So I had to lay them out flat lol. But jokes aside, This is the BEST! Thank you.

Snapon Quality without the Snappy Price

20+ years of wrenching and having had Matco, Mac and Snapon toolboxes, I have to admit I was skeptical at first (how can they be so much cheaper?), but after much research and reading lots of reviews, I finally decided to order this Tool Vault monster, and was very impressed with the quality and construction. Side by side with my older, smaller Snapon, I have to say this box beats that KRL, as the Tool Vault has reinforcing ribs under the drawers (unlike the KRL). Even heavily loaded drawers (air tool, puller, socket drawer, etc) glide smoothly without binding or twisting. Shipping was fast for where I live (in the sticks), ordered Thursday it arrived Tuesday. Only fault I can point to in the entire process of buying this tool box is when it's all crated up for shipping is, it's 8' long.....and nobody has an 8' liftgate, and you can't turn an 8' skid inside an 8' trailer. Thankfully I have a forklift, so we were able to use it in conjunction with the liftgate to get it safely on the ground. Driver was very helpful and pointed out a few scuffs on the crating, insisting we uncrate it (I think he was as excited to see this box as I was.) Box arrived in perfect condition.

My 84" Elite Tool Vault came today via Fed Ex. The driver let me open the crate, we inspected it, it was perfect, not a scratch. The customer service walked me through the entire process, sent me emails, I was able to call and ask questions. Everything went as planned. I couldn't be more happier with my purchase. This thing went beyond my expectations. It's a beast! If you're looking for a quality tool box, to upgrade like I was, or just starting out, this is exactly what you need! You will not be disappointed. I'm so lucky I found this web site-And finally pulled the trigger. My guess, these toolboxes will become main stream, and will totally change the industry. Seriously, you should have seen the guys faces when they found out how much I paid, LOL!

Just received my new toolbox. I ordered it Tuesday evening and got here 3:00 pm Friday. This thing is a beast and at 61 years old I have had a lot of tool boxes over the years. The process was easy and there customer service is top notch. I can’t believe the quality for the price. I do think the big 3 have a slight quality advantage but for the money it was 1/3 the cost. My tool guys are hating life lol. Thank you Strictly Tool Boxes for giving technicians another option I wanted everything from my 2 boxes and on the shelves to be in 1 box

Pre-ordered the orange with black trim and it was well worth the wait for it to get done. Shipped from Florida to Pennsylvania in 2 business days and the packaging was like a tank. The lock the drawer latches and the slides are top notch. This thing moves very smooth for its size and weight casters are outstanding. The drawer liners are nice dense foam and fit perfectly and the stainless top can be used as a mirror. I have seen many snap on and Matco tool boxes and this tool box is built just as well as any of them. If you are looking for a toolbox that is built for professionals this will not disappoint. For reference the color is similar to the old chevy hugger orange and the finish is flawless. Last note customer service was great this was a hassle free purchase and the box was done exactly when they said it would be. I will try to add more photos as I get it completely set up.

This is my second tool vault and both are awesome. My first was a 55” elite but I ran out of room. Very well built. I don’t see why this toolbox wouldn’t last me the rest of my career. The handle locking mechanism works well and the drawers slide nice and smooth. I got my tracking number right away and the tool box arrived earlier than the expected arrival date. The tool truck boxes are no better quality than these and their prices don’t even come close. It’s a no-brainer.
Residential Addresses: All residential deliveries will require a delivery appointment.
Commercial Addresses: A delivery appointment is not required, but is highly recommended to ensure a proper inspection by responsible personnel.
*If you do not schedule a delivery appointment, your freight carrier will arrive without notice with your toolbox, and expect that you will be present for inspection.
This step is usually performed directly after your shipping notification is received.
2. PREPARE YOUR RECEIVING AREA
To make the inspection process go as smoothly as possible, please have the tools listed below available as soon as the carrier reaches the delivery point:
LARGE FLAT-HEAD SCREWDRIVER, PRY BAR or CLAW HAMMER
BOX CUTTER
WORK GLOVES
CAMERA or SMARTPHONE CAMERA
ASSISTANT (RECOMMENDED)
CELL PHONE**
Freight carrier drivers typically have 7 – 15 minutes to make a delivery; freight drivers are under no obligation to offer assistance.
3. INSPECT THE OUTER PACKAGING
Use your CAMERA to photograph any damage, and take notes. Examples of damage include, but are not limited to:
BOX CAVING IN, BENT TRIM
HOLES OR TEARS IN CARDBOARD
HOLES CREATED BY A FORKLIFT
ANY EXPOSED METAL
DAMAGE TO BASE
“NO-STACK” CONE ON CARDBOARD PACKAGING IS DESTROYED OR MISSING
In most cases, the outer packaging may display minor damage from general shipping conditions. Any marks or damage on the packaging you see, no matter how trivial, is enough to warrant a complete inspection of your tool box.
If you see any damage at this point,
STOP
NOTE THE DAMAGE ON THE BILL OF LADING and CONTINUE YOUR INSPECTION
***If possible, write on the bill of lading yourself. If the driver insists on being the one to write on the bill of lading, initial their notes showing that you agree with them. If you do not agree with the driver’s notes, DO NOT sign the bill of lading.***
4. UNFASTEN CRATE
Wearing your WORK GLOVES, start with the top panel of the crate
Bend the metal tabs upward in the direction of the slot, straighten the tabs with PLYERS if needed
Remove the top portion of the crate
5. REMOVE PACKAGING
Continue bending the metal tabs, and remove each panel in sequence until the inner packaging is exposed
Lift the cardboard box off, and remove remaining inner packaging and plastic liner
Preserve all packaging and set aside
6. INSPECT TOOLBOX
Inspect your toolbox on each side thoroughly for any dents or scratches
Inspect the powder coat and frame to detect scratches or dents that are less visible
Take clear photos and notes of all damage
If you see any damage at this point,
STOP
CALL US IMMEDIATELY AT: 888.289.1952
DO NOT SIGN FOR THE DELIVERY
UNTIL WE WALK YOU THROUGH HOW TO REFUSE THE DAMAGED ITEM(S)

7. SIGN FOR YOUR SHIPMENT*
You may sign the bill of lading once the shipment you are accepting has been inspected and declared perfect condition by your own best judgement.
When you sign the bill of lading, you are signing an agreement with the freight company that states that you or an authorized representative has thoroughly inspected the shipment.
Once signed, you agree that you have received the shipment without damage. This agreement also waives any rights to file a freight claim.

5 Year Limited Warranty
All Tool Vault® toolboxes have a Limited 5-Year Warranty to the original user against defects in workmanship and material under normal use. This Limited 5-Year Warranty does not apply to products that have been misused, abused, damaged by accident or otherwise, subjected to abnormal use, used in any type of over the road use, or modified by anyone other than Strictly Tool Boxes. During the applicable duration of the warranty, at its option Strictly Tool Boxes will repair or replace its products which fail to give satisfactory performance due to defective workmanship or materials, or provide a refund by repaying or crediting with an amount equal to the purchase price of such products.

Do I need Lift Gate Delivery?
